Grey Goose?
Payne's Grey ink dripped with water onto the canvas. Embellished with collage Geese, inspired by the flocks of Geese coming in from Greenland and Iceland to stay in Moray for the Winter. Some will be heading South too, difficult to tell which though!
Longtails & Trees
Acrylic, watercolour, gesso and paper on canvas 60x90cm
New painting I’ve been working on since moving down to Forres. One of the first things I noticed was the variety of trees (4 years in Orkney will do that ). Then the Swallows, Swifts and House Martins swooping around where we live. I’ve collaged the birds in music as their song is the ‘noise’ I hear the most. Also in map paper to represent the sad day when they leave again (hopefully into October).
